LIDAR Lab-mates Moving Humanoid Robots Closer to Adaptability in the Real World

Researchers from the Woodruff School, including Associate Professor and Woodruff Faculty Fellow Ye Zhao and Ph.D. student Fukang Liu, have introduced two new learning frameworks that significantly improve humanoid robots’ agility and adaptability in real-world environments. Their methods boost training efficiency and whole-body control, moving humanoid robots closer to reliable deployment across everyday and industrial settings.
