David Ku, a Regents’ Professor in the Woodruff School, and his team of researchers, including Ph.D. candidate Raphaëlle Dodart, have received $466,000 from Wellcome Leap to investigate whether clotting disorders contribute to heavy menstrual bleeding, a common yet understudied condition affecting up to 30% of women. Their research aims to uncover underlying causes that could lead to better diagnosis and treatment.
