Prerequisites: ME 3322 or equivalent, or with the consent of the instructor
Catalog Description: Fundamentals of classical thermodynamics including energy, entropy, and energy analysis, property relations, equilibrium conditions, and evaluation of properties.

Goals: To present students with a rigorous and advanced development of the fundamentals of classical thermodynamics and its application to energy and entropy analysis, combined first and second law analysis, analysis of phase equilibrium, and the evaluation of thermodynamic properties as preparation for independent research and further education in thermodynamics or the related thermal and fluid sciences.
