I chose the Woodruff School because it is one of the top ranking research institutes in the nation. In addition, a personal contact from Dr. Bill Wepfer at the time of decision making gave me the feeling that each student is attended to individually.
My graduate years at the Woodruff School have prepared me to be competitive and to thrive in a technical environment. I foresee many opportunities for personal and professional growth in the current work environment, where understanding and applying up-to-date research findings to a product is critical in a fast-paced, product-development cycle.
Georgia Tech has a versatile program and interdisciplinary curricula, where students are often faced with interesting research opportunities.
I find the graduate program to be very good. I enjoyed my years at Georgia Tech. Facilities are well-maintained, and there are various new buildings with new equipment. I have enjoyed many hours of intellectual and philosophical discussions with my colleagues, who inspired and motivated me to complete my degree at the Woodruff School. The faculty is very supportive.
