I decided to do my graduate work at the Woodruff School because I was very impressed by the faculty. I believe the preparation was excellent, I have the basis to do work in a variety of areas.
I think the rigor of the program and the quality of the faculty are the greatest strengths of the Woodruff School. When you finish the program, you know the material. The faculty are internationally know for research, but always have the time to help you individually and they put effort into with teaching as well.
Every scientific meeting I go to, when I say I went to Georgia Tech, someone knows a faculty member from GT who is an expert in the field - almost no matter what the field is. It is a great feeling, you have instant credibility and you feel you come from a strong tradition.
