The access to quality research faculty and facilities is something that students often take for granted at an institution of higher learning.

Many of the faculty in the Woodruff School are well known throughout industry and academia as "the best" in their field. Having served as a faculty member responsible for research facilities, I now have a great appreciation for the excellent resources provided by the Woodruff School during my graduate education. Besides being two of the reasons that Georgia Tech is so well recognized, those faculty and their research facilities played a major role in the success of my graduate education and ultimate career as an engineering faculty member.
