Program Summary
Engineering
at OSRAM SYLVANIA is directly responsible for technological breakthroughs that
have revolutionized the world of lighting and precision materials. The scope
and diversity of Engineering at OSRAM SYLVANIA are as far-reaching as our
achievements. As an Engineering Associate, you will be given assignments in the
areas of Research and Development, Product Development, Process Engineering,
Equipment Development, Materials Development, or Testing and Analysis.
Assignments may include opportunities to:
Assist in the
transfer of technology from pilot stage to full-scale production
Design and
develop innovative processes that result in increased efficiency, quality and
cost reduction
Develop high
speed automated assembly equipment
Introduce new
materials for use in lighting and other products
Academic Requirements:
BS or MS in
Material Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,
Chemical Engineering or Ceramic Engineering
