Academic Common Market

The Woodruff School participates in the Academic Common Market. Students who are legal residents of the following states may attend the program(s) listed below at in-state tuition and fee rates.

Degree Program State
M.S. Nuclear Engineering Alabama, Arkansas, South Carolina, West Virginia
Ph.D. Nuclear Engineering Alabama, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina

Once an eligible student is admitted, he/she must obtain written certification of residency from his/her state Academic Common Market Coordinator. You can obtain further information about the Academic Common Market, including contact information for state coordinators, by writing to
