> Jianmin Qu Wins CPMT Society Outstanding Sustained Technical Contribution Award
The George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering is pleased to announce that Dr. Jianmin Qu, Professor and Associate Chair for Administration, has won the 2008 IEEE Components, Packaging, & Manufacturing Technology (CPMT) Society’s Outstanding Sustained Technical Contribution Award in recognition of his “impact to the electronic packaging industry for his 15 years of research and development in micro-electronic packaging, focusing primarily on reliability modeling and analysis of various aspects of electronic packages.” Dr. Qu will receive the award in May at the 58th Electronic Components and Technology Conference in Buena Vista, Florida.
