Education:

  • M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, 2007 - Present, Georgia Inst. of Tech.
  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, 2007, University of Kentucky

Research Experience:

Sandia National Laboratories, New Mexico, Intern, Fall 2004, Summer 2005, Spring 2006

Research Projects:

Rameen is currently focusing his research efforts on the Force Sensing Integrated Readout and Active Tip (FIRAT) probe as a means of Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM).  Concurrently, he is conducting Time Resolved Interaction Force (TRIF) signal experiments in order to capture the adhesion force characteristics of specific materials (i.e. polymers).
