Session Presentations
The time of the Mechatronics 2000 Conference is fast approaching and we would like to
ensure we are fully prepared to make your presentations go as smoothly as possible. This
is to notify you that the following standard audio/visual equipment will be available:
- podium and background screen
- overhead projector for transparencies
- LCD projector for PowerPoint presentations
- 35 mm slide projector
- Television/VCR (VHS format)
- wireless microphone
- laser pointer
Poster
Session Presentations
- Standard equipment provided for each poster session paper will be One 8' by 4' tack
board (one-sided) Tacks
- A poster session paper is for presentation of topics using charts, figures, photographs,
illustrations, or other visible means. No electronic or audio-visual equipment will be
permitted.
- All poster lettering should be legible from a distance of 5 feet to allow several people
to view the entire poster exhibit simultaneously. You are encouraged to furnish colored
construction paper as a backing to your sheets to enhance visibility.
- Posting a manuscript directly on the board is not encouraged.
- The schedule of each poster paper will be according to the Final Program. Each paper
should have one presenter during the entire session to answer questions.
- Each poster exhibit should be mounted on the tack board before the scheduled poster
session starts.
- If the poster paper is scheduled to be presented in the morning, the exhibit may remain
on the board for the entire day. But the presenter does not need to remain on the post
during other time.
- All exhibits of the poster papers of each day must be removed by 6 PM of that day.
