Goals:
After completing this course, the student should be able to:
select the appropriate prototyping technology for a given design, analysis, or manufacturing situation,
understand the causes of geometric form errors and material property anomalies inherent in rapid prototyping technologies,
apply rapid prototyping technologies appropriately in a substantial engineering design-manufacture project,
operate 2-3 rapid prototyping machines.
