Nuclear and Radiological Engineering and Medical Physics Tenure-Track Faculty Positions
The Nuclear and Radiological Engineering and Medical Physics Programs in the George W. Woodruff School at Georgia Tech seek applications for tenure-track faculty positions in nuclear engineering and medical physics; salary and rank commensurate with experience. For the medical physics position, candidates with a background in diagnostic imaging physics and radiological anatomy are preferred. For the nuclear engineering positions, candidates with background in nuclear fuels, radiochemistry, nuclear chemical engineering, probabilistic risk assessment or reactor dynamics and safety are preferred. Qualifications include an earned doctorate degree in nuclear engineering, medical physics or a related field, the ability to obtain research funding and to advise graduate students, and broad teaching skills. Applications will be considered until the positions are filled.
