Georgia Tech Lorraine Faculty Position
The George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering of the Georgia Institute of Technology is considering applicants for a tenure track faculty member at the Assistant Professor level for its European campus of Georgia Tech Lorraine in Metz, France. (see http://www.GT-Lorraine.eu). Applications will be entertained in the areas of nanostructured materials and characterization. Preferred areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, computational mechanics, finite element and atomistic analysis, multiscale and multiphysics modeling, design optimization, design for reliability, and sustainable design. Research on the GT-Lorraine campus is carried under the umbrella of the Georgia Tech - CNRS Unité Mixte Internationale UMI 2958. The position requires a balance of teaching and research.
