Welcome to the UMI Laboratory for
Ultrasonic Nondestructive Evaluation New

- The
Ultrasonic Polar C-Scan system (3m x 2m x 1m, 0.5 MHz – 60 MHz)

- Some of
the other equipment (low frequency C-scanner, …)

- Ritec
Snapscan system for nonlinear acoustics

- The
team has access to the GT-L computer cluster in an air-conditioned and
acoustically isolated room (64 processors to be extended regularly in the
future) for finite element calculations. The cluster belongs the team of
Mohammed Cherkaoui and is run by our IT specialist Jean-Jacques Michel.

Here are some souvenirs of the day when the Ultrasonic
Polar C-scan system was delivered: delivery
