As a part of the dual-degree program, I had to complete my
undergraduate studies at Georgia Tech in the Woodruff School over the
course
of essentially four semesters. That's roughly half the time that most
students spend. While matriculating through the program, I came the
conclusion that I could substantially prepare myself professionally and
increase my skill set by continuing in the graduate program. The
alternative
was to miss out on the Georgia Tech experience.
The challenges that Woodruff students overcome as a part of
completing
the program make them much more diligent, skillful, and life-long
learners.
These program outcomes have been essential in my career.
The strong points of the graduate program at Tech are the people.
Faculty, administrators, staff, and alumni are continually motivating the
program and its students to new achievements.
The resources available to the Woodruff School are amazing. The
faculty, students, and facilities are comparable to elite universities in
the United States and internationally. Whenever I return for a visit to the Woodruff
School, I observe that there is always some cutting edge research activity
for which the school is now a leader.
